Intended for those people who are responsible for carrying out off-job group training.
Key Objectives
By the end of the 2-day programme delegates will be able to:
- analyse group training activities and write appropriate objectives
- plan accurate training sessions with support materials that reflect real practice and include appropriate types of information
- state how to select sites and locations for the delivery of learning and explain the factors influencing their choice
- carry out group training sessions at a pace and sequence that maximised the level of learning
- encourage trainee participation, control group dynamics and use the skills of analysis and evaluation to promote learning
- seek clarification and assess trainees' response to demonstrations
- describe how to provide information and advice that enables individual to review and modify their learning objectives

- Supporting learning with trainee materials

- Deliver training session to group & get feedback
- Room layout
- Approaches to conflict in groups
- Using group exercises to increase participation
- Enhancing your sessions by taking a multi-sensory approach to delivery
